The band was formed 1969 . Between 1971 to 1978 they were mainly in germany successful. In GB they got not one Hit. All began with the Debut Album " Eavy Very ŽUmble" by Uriah Heep 1970 and the Single part "Gypsy " 1971 . For both they got Gold. It followed the Albums "Salisbury" and "Look At Yourself". The single "Lady in Black"  was a part  from the Album  "Salisbury". A titel which is known until today. The most successful time was 1972 -1975. In this time were released the Albums "Demons and Wizzards" , "The Magicians Birthday" , "Live 1973" and "Sweet Freedom."  After this time the success went back . It wasn't more the right music style for the  following youth . It followed still a few of records like "Return To Fantasy" , " High And Mighty", " Innocent Victim". But that was it. The steady change of members wasn't  the best for the success. 1980 Uriah Heep felt apart. That thought the people !!!!! But Uriah Heep is still here. You can meet them at organization and own concerts.
