Diamond Drums Harley Fernstein Drums Adrian Fischer Gitarre Ian Hampton Bass Russel Mael Vocal Ron Mael Keyboard Jim Mankay Bass Earle Mankay Guitar In the childhood they showed Fashion for Children for a fashion Company. 1970 they founded the band "Halfnelson". 1971 they made a single but without success. They changed the name to Sparks. 1973 Ron and Russel parted from the other musicans , went to London and tried it with british musicans one more. In England they had more success. 1975 it looked like the "Sparks" would be ended. In the middle of 1979 suddently was "beat the clock" under the first 10 again. After this time it was silent again. At the end of 1994 they were there again. It came out the single "When do I get to sing >my way" and the Album "Gratuitous sax ans senseless Violins". The last Hit from Sparks was "When I kiss you". The most successfull Album was and is still "Kimono my House".
