Sailor was a own band. Comical and different of other popbands of this decade. The band formation involved the different instruments. Mandolins, Accordeons, Bassdrums and the legendary Nickelodeon. An invention by the band. Every song of them is  telling a own story and the principal characters were Sailors far from home. The Nickelodeon were drafted and builded to give Sailor the known sound . 1973 the first Album was released. The song "Traffic Jam" from the Album got Gold in netherland .With the second Album *Trouble " they conquered the world. The worldwide Tophits they had with "A glass of Champagne" 1975 and "Girls Girls Girls" 1976. After a break of 10 years a new Album was released 1989 and two new Hit singles ""The Secretary" and "La Cumbia" 1995 George Kajanus left the band to start a solo career;. Sailor looked after a successor and Peter Lincoln  joined. With this formation they recorded the first Live album "Live in Berlin" .  2002 the took up the first DVD from a special UK Concert. This year 2004 the celebrate the anniversary of 30 years Sailor.
