1973 formed the schoolfriends Ian Mitchell, Damian ,Terry and Colin McKee the Band "Young City Stars". They played in Pubs und Clubs and were known very fast. They opend often Concerts by the Bay City Rollers.1976 Ian leaved the Young City Stars and joined the Bay City Rollers . He was replaced through Andy Legear. But after a few month Ian came back again.Roller Manager Tam Paton noticed the talent of these guys and looked after them. 1977 they changed the name to "Rosetta Stones".The first Album "Rock Picture" came out 1978 and the second Album "Caught in the Act" 1979.Begin of 1979 Ian leaved Rosetta one more and was replaced through Flash (Paul Lerwill) but he also leaved the band 1980 and was replaced through Enda Walsh.One year later the band disbanded
