Ursprünglich waren die Musiker die Hintergrund Band von dem Sänger Gary Glitter. Machten aber nebenher ab 1974 auch ohne Gary Karriere. Die Glitter Band hatte eine Reihe von Top 10 Hits1974 "Angel Face" , "Just for you" , "Let's get together again"1976 "People like you and people like me"1977 trennte sich die Band . Kam aber 1981 wieder zusammen um mit Gary Glitter auf Tournee zu gehen.
