Diese Hard- Rock -Band gilt für mich zu einen der besten dieser Kategorie Musik.Viele Bands der 80er Jahre versuchten an sie musikalisch und technisch heran zu kommen. Die Mitglieder dieser Band spielten Anfang der 60er Jahre alle in verschiedenen Bands und waren, als sich 1968 Deep Purple formierte, alles gestandene Musiker. Von 1968 - 1990 wechselten die Mitglieder öfters. Insgesamt zählten zu Deep Purple 11 Musiker. Für die Fans war die beste Besetzung : Gillian ,Lord, Blackmore, Glover und Paice. Mit ihnen wurde auch 1970 - 1972 die Platten " Deep Purple in Rock", "Fireball" und "Machine Head" veröffentlicht. Ein bekanntes Markenzeichen ist die 1973 veröffentlichte Platte "Smoke on the Water". Das Auf und ad und rein und raus ging auch in den 90er Jahren weiter. 1993 kam "The battles rages on " , 1996 " Purpendicular" und 1998 " Abandon" heraus. DEEP PURPEL- Die Lieblingsband aller Musiklehrer !!!! Leider fehlen mir bisher bessere Info's über Deep Purple
