Chicago was foundated 15.2.1967 . They exercised two years long, wrote songs and worked on the first LP which was released 1969.

The success didn't just come but with the second LP 1970. Until 1991 released the band 21 Albums. One after the next !!!

The most became millionseller:

1972 " Saturday in the Park " 1973 "Just you'n me" 1978 " If you leave me now" (einer meiner Lieblings songs ) 1982 "Hard to say I'm sorry" 1988 " Look away"

After Terry Kath death 1978, it was a grave accident, changed the band members very often. The most popular Albums by the band (5 millionfold sold per Album ) had been "Chicago IX- greatest Hits" 1975 and "Chicago 17" 1984. Eight years long it was very silent around the band 'till spring 1997. With "Heart of chicago 1967 - 1997" came out a new Album again. (A very nice Album, I also have got it ) On this Album are the nicest Ballades and two new songs of the band.
