1963 he played in the age of 15 years the first time in the band by Jazzer Ronnie Scott the Saxophone. 1964 he formed with schoolfriends the band "King Bees". End of 1964 he became a member of the band "Manish Boys". 1966 changed David Jones his name to David Bowie. David tried to start a solo career and recorded his first single "Do anything you say". Until 1968 followed more singles but without success. He applied by Apple Records but got a rejection. 1969 "space oddity" was recorded . The first Top 10 success. 1972 , three years later, he sited the trend and was successful 'til in the 90's. 1975 he had front runners with "Fame" and 1983 with "Let's dance" Between this time he also played in different movies like "Labyrinth" and " absolute beginnings". 1993 recorded Bowie the CD "Buddah of Suburbia" to the Movie "Buddah". 1997 he still recorded "Earthling
