The BeeGees had a very successful time had beetween 1967 - 1970 . But the time after was a joke about theyself couldn't laugh anymore. The brothers come from Manchester. Their first appeared they had in Manchester Cinema 19551958 the family moved to Australia/Brisbane.1963 the first single "three kisses of love" was recorded.1966 were the BeeGees the most popular group in Australia. The first Nr.1 Hit they had with "Spicks and spice" 1966.1967 they got a record-contract in London by Robert Stigwood. While this time the Beegees were 5 musicans.The first success they had 1967 with "New York mining distaster 1941" and in the same year was released "Massachusetts"One hit after the next followed.But already 2968 came up the first proplems in the band. Two musicans left the band and Robin and his brothers got trouble each other. He tried to start a solo career.1970the Beegees get together again and the success came back again.1974 the career was down again.1975 was formed a new band again and the success came back with "Jive talkin'"In the following time the Discohits were popular and the Beegees recorded "you should be dancing", Saturday night Fever" , "stayin alive" and "Night Fever".The Beegees were top again !!!1981 they were at the end again.1989, 10 years after ,the had a new success with "One".1993 the Album "size isn't everything " and 1995 the Album "still waters" was recorded and with it started a Worldtour. January of the same year they got the American Music Award and february the Brit Award. |
